We need just a few democrats to vote against this obomination. There are 17 new taxesin this bill. Deficit neutral, not! Harry Reid is a liar, he states that this will save $130 billion dollars. He doesn't tell you that the tax implications start next year and the healthcare directives do not start until 2013. Ironically, right after the 2012 elections. So, we pay into this program for four years and then receive the intended benefits. Mitch McConnell gave a excellent analogy on Greta Van Susturen's "On The Record." If you buy a house, get a mortgage from a bank, start paying for it immediately, however, you don't move into the house for four years, that is the Senate healthcare bill in a nutshell. Realistically, Senator McConnell estimated the true cost of this bill at $2.5 trillion. Of course, the abortion clause is still in the bill, will the "Pro-life" Senators vote for that? Communist strategy to destroy America: The Cloward & Piven Strategy: Strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis
First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.
Inspired by the August 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles (which erupted after police had used batons to subdue a black man suspected of drunk driving), Cloward and Piven published an article titled "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty" in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation. Following its publication, The Nation sold an unprecedented 30,000 reprints. Activists were abuzz over the so-called "crisis strategy" or "Cloward-Piven Strategy," as it came to be called. Many were eager to put it into effect.
In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when "the rest of society is afraid of them," Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would "the rest of society" accept their demands.
The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven's early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. "Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules," Alinsky wrote in his 1972 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system's failure to "live up" to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist "rule book" with a socialist one.
The authors noted that the number of Americans subsisting on welfare -- about 8 million, at the time -- probably represented less than half the number who were technically eligible for full benefits. They proposed a "massive drive to recruit the poor onto the welfare rolls." Cloward and Piven calculated that persuading even a fraction of potential welfare recipients to demand their entitlements would bankrupt the system. The result, they predicted, would be "a profound financial and political crisis" that would unleash "powerful forces … for major economic reform at the national level."
Their article called for "cadres of aggressive organizers" to use "demonstrations to create a climate of militancy." Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of "a federal program of income redistribution," in the form of a guaranteed living income for all -- working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act.
This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements -- mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown -- providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change. That was the theory.
Cloward and Piven recruited a militant black organizer named George Wiley to lead their new movement. In the summer of 1967, Wiley founded the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO). His tactics closely followed the recommendations set out in Cloward and Piven's article. His followers invaded welfare offices across the United States -- often violently -- bullying social workers and loudly demanding every penny to which the law "entitled" them. By 1969, NWRO claimed a dues-paying membership of 22,500 families, with 523 chapters across the nation.
Regarding Wiley's tactics, The New York Times commented on September 27, 1970, "There have been sit-ins in legislative chambers, including a United States Senate committee hearing, mass demonstrations of several thousand welfare recipients, school boycotts, picket lines, mounted police, tear gas, arrests - and, on occasion, rock-throwing, smashed glass doors, overturned desks, scattered papers and ripped-out phones."These methods proved effective. "The flooding succeeded beyond Wiley's wildest dreams," writes Sol Stern in the City Journal. "From 1965 to 1974, the number of single-parent households on welfare soared from 4.3 million to 10.8 million, despite mostly flush economic times. By the early 1970s, one person was on the welfare rolls in New York City for every two working in the city's private economy."As a direct result of its massive welfare spending, New York City was forced to declare bankruptcy in 1975. The entire state of New York nearly went down with it. The Cloward-Piven strategy had proved its effectiveness.
The Cloward-Piven strategy depended on surprise. Once society recovered from the initial shock, the backlash began. New York's welfare crisis horrified America, giving rise to a reform movement which culminated in "the end of welfare as we know it" -- the 1996 Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, which imposed time limits on federal welfare, along with strict eligibility and work requirements. Both Cloward and Piven attended the White House signing of the bill as guests of President Clinton.
Most Americans to this day have never heard of Cloward and Piven. But New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani attempted to expose them in the late 1990s. As his drive for welfare reform gained momentum, Giuliani accused the militant scholars by name, citing their 1966 manifesto as evidence that they had engaged in deliberate economic sabotage. "This wasn't an accident," Giuliani charged in a 1997 speech. "It wasn't an atmospheric thing, it wasn't supernatural. This is the result of policies and programs designed to have the maximum number of people get on welfare."
Cloward and Piven never again revealed their intentions as candidly as they had in their 1966 article. Even so, their activism in subsequent years continued to rely on the tactic of overloading the system. When the public caught on to their welfare scheme, Cloward and Piven simply moved on, applying pressure to other sectors of the bureaucracy, wherever they detected weakness.
In 1982, partisans of the Cloward-Piven strategy founded a new "voting rights movement," which purported to take up the unfinished work of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Like ACORN, the organization that spear-headed this campaign, the new "voting rights" movement was led by veterans of George Wiley's welfare rights crusade. Its flagship organizations were Project Vote and Human SERVE, both founded in 1982. Project Vote is an ACORN front group, launched by former NWRO organizer and ACORN co-founder Zach Polett. Human SERVE was founded by Richard A. Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, along with a former NWRO organizer named Hulbert James.
All three of these organizations -- ACORN, Project Vote and Human SERVE -- set to work lobbying energetically for the so-called Motor-Voter law, which Bill Clinton ultimately signed in 1993. The Motor-Voter bill is largely responsible for swamping the voter rolls with "dead wood" -- invalid registrations signed in the name of deceased, ineligible or non-existent people -- thus opening the door to the unprecedented levels of voter fraud and "voter disenfranchisement" claims that followed in subsequent elections.
The new "voting rights" coalition combines mass voter registration drives -- typically featuring high levels of fraud -- with systematic intimidation of election officials in the form of frivolous lawsuits, unfounded charges of "racism" and "disenfranchisement," and "direct action" (street protests, violent or otherwise). Just as they swamped America's welfare offices in the 1960s, Cloward-Piven devotees now seek to overwhelm the nation's understaffed and poorly policed electoral system. Their tactics set the stage for the Florida recount crisis of 2000, and have introduced a level of fear, tension and foreboding to U.S. elections heretofore encountered mainly in Third World countries.
Both the Living Wage and Voting Rights movements depend heavily on financial support from George Soros's Open Society Institute and his "Shadow Party," through whose support the Cloward-Piven strategy continues to provide a blueprint for some of the Left's most ambitious campaigns.

Well, this mammogram 180 degree reversal, Eric Holder bringing the circus to New York, testifying in front of Congress, healthcare reform moving forward when the polls say no one wants it and job creation lies and fantasies. President Obama granted Senior White House Correspondent Major Garrett, an interview in China. He mentioned that he was concerned that if his government keeps spending money and blowing out the budget, the American citizens will lose faith in the government. Just a minute, let me stop laughing. Is he clueless? Earth to Obama, it's already happened. Back to Holder, he met with some family members of 911 vitims and they pleaded, begged and cried attempting to persuade AG Holder not allow the terrorists to have their trials in civilian court in N.Y. city, a few blocks away from where the twin towers once stood. One lady commented that Holder didn't seem to care much about their plight and seemed to be thinking about something else. Everyone knows that Holder is carrying Obama's water. AG Holder's law firm, Covington and Burling, represented numerous terrorists at Gitmo, which to me, is a conflict of interest? Also, Holder made a comment that finally after eight years, the victim's families of 911 and the USS Cole will get justice. Eric Holder was the Deputy Attorney General when the USS Cole attack happened in 2000. Why didn't he indict the terrorists then? They weren't indicted until 2004, under the Bush administration, hypocrite. Today, I must say, I was in agreement with Lindsay Graham, who manhandled Eric Holder in the hearing this morning. I am very skeptical when someone is testifying who studders on every answer. I have a tendency to not believe them. This will have a unbelievable negative impact on the citizens of New York City. Health 'Reform' Gets a Failing Grade: The changes proposed by Congress will require more draconian measures down the road. Just look at Massachusetts. By JEFFREY S. FLIER As the dean of Harvard Medical School I am frequently asked to comment on the health-reform debate. I'd give it a failing grade.
Instead of forthrightly dealing with the fundamental problems, discussion is dominated by rival factions struggling to enact or defeat President Barack Obama's agenda. The rhetoric on both sides is exaggerated and often deceptive. Those of us for whom the central issue is health—not politics—have been left in the lurch. And as controversy heads toward a conclusion in Washington, it appears that the people who favor the legislation are engaged in collective denial.
Our health-care system suffers from problems of cost, access and quality, and needs major reform. Tax policy drives employment-based insurance; this begets overinsurance and drives costs upward while creating inequities for the unemployed and self-employed. A regulatory morass limits innovation. And deep flaws in Medicare and Medicaid drive spending without optimizing care.
Speeches and news reports can lead you to believe that proposed congressional legislation would tackle the problems of cost, access and quality. But that's not true. The various bills do deal with access by expanding Medicaid and mandating subsidized insurance at substantial cost—and thus addresses an important social goal. However, there are no provisions to substantively control the growth of costs or raise the quality of care. So the overall effort will fail to qualify as reform.
Associated Press In discussions with dozens of health-care leaders and economists, I find near unanimity of opinion that, whatever its shape, the final legislation that will emerge from Congress will markedly accelerate national health-care spending rather than restrain it. Likewise, nearly all agree that the legislation would do little or nothing to improve quality or change health-care's dysfunctional delivery system. The system we have now promotes fragmented care and makes it more difficult than it should be to assess outcomes and patient satisfaction. The true costs of health care are disguised, competition based on price and quality are almost impossible, and patients lose their ability to be the ultimate judges of value.
Worse, currently proposed federal legislation would undermine any potential for real innovation in insurance and the provision of care. It would do so by overregulating the health-care system in the service of special interests such as insurance companies, hospitals, professional organizations and pharmaceutical companies, rather than the patients who should be our primary concern.
In effect, while the legislation would enhance access to insurance, the trade-off would be an accelerated crisis of health-care costs and perpetuation of the current dysfunctional system—now with many more participants. This will make an eventual solution even more difficult. Ultimately, our capacity to innovate and develop new therapies would suffer most of all.
There are important lessons to be learned from recent experience with reform in Massachusetts. Here, insurance mandates similar to those proposed in the federal legislation succeeded in expanding coverage but—despite initial predictions—increased total spending.
A "Special Commission on the Health Care Payment System" recently declared that the Massachusetts health-care payment system must be changed over the next five years, most likely to one involving "capitated" payments instead of the traditional fee-for-service system. Capitation means that newly created organizations of physicians and other health-care providers will be given limited dollars per patient for all of their care, allowing for shared savings if spending is below the targets. Unfortunately, the details of this massive change—necessitated by skyrocketing costs and a desire to improve quality—are completely unspecified by the commission, although a new Massachusetts state bureaucracy clearly will be required.
Yet it's entirely unclear how such unspecified changes would impact physician practices and compensation, hospital organizations and their capacity to invest, and the ability of patients to receive the kind and quality of care they desire. Similar challenges would eventually confront the entire country on a more explosive scale if the current legislation becomes law.
Selling an uncertain and potentially unwelcome outcome such as this to the public would be a challenging task. It is easier to assert, confidently but disingenuously, that decreased costs and enhanced quality would result from the current legislation.
So the majority of our representatives may congratulate themselves on reducing the number of uninsured, while quietly understanding this can only be the first step of a multiyear process to more drastically change the organization and funding of health care in America. I have met many people for whom this strategy is conscious and explicit.
We should not be making public policy in such a crucial area by keeping the electorate ignorant of the actual road ahead.

While the President is hobnobbing with the ChiComs, His fictitious stimulus office is writing bestsellers on the art of job creation. The administration said it saved (X) amount of jobs. I don't know what number they made up today. Well I saved 500 souls, prove me wrong. This type of behavior is unacceptable from a private enterprise let alone the United States Government. I assume they are incredibly desperate when it comes to job creation. This is a blatant waste of taxpayer's money. $150,000 to create five jobs is just one of many examples. And they want to takeover healthcare which is 1/6th of our economy. They are incompetent and enept to manage such an enormous task. Government is not the answer. David Obey, a top ranking democrat from Wisconsin, is critcizing and asking questions on this employment fantasy. I've heard many examples today of the wasted stimulus money. I am concerned about the reported congressional districts that don't exist. Do the administration minions think that these so called "Stimulus created jobs" will not be investigated? 440 congressional districts received funds that don't exist. I would hate to be Edward Deseve (sounds like deceive), Obama's pick for overseeing stimulus monies. No one trusts this administration anymore. Not even the President's state run media. I used to live on St. Thomas, USVI, the island is 13 miles by 3.5 miles, I don't think there is a 99th district unless a district is considered one house. Unfortunately, 3.1 million jobs have been losted since Obama's inauguration. What happened to the 3.5 million jobs promised to be created because of the stimulus? Huh? And they are threatening us with a new stimulus by the end of the year? The country is in dire straits and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are stirring their witch's brew of tax increases. Are they competent to do their jobs? The third stooge knows better. I heard Sarah Palin on the Rush Limbaugh show today and I must admit, I like this women. She is like a breathe of fresh air compared to BHO. She has pride and enthusiasm for America. She takes a practical and common sense approach to straightening out the country's problems. This is why the left loathes her and criticizes her on a daily basis. Her book (Going Rogue) is going to drive a lot of liberals off a cliff (wishful thinking, but I digressed). It will be a bestseller for months and Chris Matthews, Ariana Huffington and Naomi Wolf will be besides themselves, wishing they could be that popular. Our nation's issues are not a lost cause. Simply put, lower the payroll taxes, abolish the capital gains tax for awhile, and stop this healthcare takeover conspiracy. Even the Chinese (our bankers) are telling Obama that it is too expensive. Take a hint! Is this a part of a master plan to bring down our country so Obama and the sycophants can rebuild Amerika the way they envision. I hope this is just hyperbole. Mr. Obama, it is time to eat some "humble pie" and stop spending, reduce taxes and watch the country prosper. "Save our way of life."

Mammograms- First sign of healthcare rationing: For years, healthcare professionals have suggested women should start getting mammograms at age 40. Today, a report comes out from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, a government entity within the Department of HHS, stating that the age should be 50. Why the change? It seems to me that the mammograms have helped dramatically in the detection of breast cancer. Is this the beginning of healthcare rationing? Look at the title of this department, it sounds like a death panel. The American Cancer Society and the American College of Radiology condemns the recommendation.

I am a black man who, since 1993, has been a regular listener of the Rush Limbaugh radio program. I must caution black America. Be afraid, be very afraid of this powerful white man. Regular listening to him could be devastating to the psyche of the 96% of black Americans who voted for Obama. I have compiled the following Top Ten list of reasons why.
10. If you want to believe blacks are eternal victims in America, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.
9. If you do not want to take responsibility for your life, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.
8. If you are a dead beat loser who voted for Obama in hope of him redistributing what others worked for to you, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

Who runs Obama's protocol office? Obviously, a bunch of idiots are not on top of his game. I fully understand this is the Asia apology tour sponsored by Kleenex Facial Tissue, which is the second or third leg of the World Apology Tour. Why does he do this? It has caused a minor international incident. President Nixon was the first to make a protocol faux pas with the Japanese emperor back in the seventies. President Clinton managed a little bow, President Bush gave Germany's Merkel a back rub, and so forth (it's natural!). I heard part of a speech today and the one thing I noticed is Obama (narcissist extraordinaire) always and consistently talks about himself. What happens when the President runs out of personal narratives? He actually said that he has very close Asian ties, living there and having family members in Jakarta. "We are the world." I wish he spent the same amount of time on the economy that he does travelling the globe. He has travelled more than any other President in the first ten months of a Presidency. His handlers need to have a sit-down with the Post-America President. I think American University offers Protocol classes. There is a gigantic difference between respect and weakness. Weakness is what we don't need at this time. The economy is in the commode, unemployment is estimated at 10.2% and experts are saying that it is actually higher and will go higher than that. The administration and Congress is trying to shove down our throats this healthcare debacle and "Crap & Tax" bill to really cripple the country. Let's get back to "JapanGate." Did you notice how ackward the Emperor and his wife appeared? It looked like they ate some bad sushi. President Obama doesn't have a clue how he should act and react with world leaders. When Dick Cheney met the Emperor, he did so with a straight back and firm handshake with American pride. Mr. Obama, I said "American pride." That's like Obama using Twitter, thumbs too big and clumsy. His head is too big and his tongue is clumsy when it comes to acting patriotic and proud of our great nation. When Obama dines with the Japanese royalty, I heard from a confidential source that President Obama is having Moo Goo Humble Pie. "Stop spending our tax dollars."

Please! Please call and email them on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Their game plan is to vote on bringing the Senate Healthcrae Reform Bill to the Senate floor for debate. Harry (Dr. Smith) Reid needs 60 votes to accomplish this. Mitch McConnell has already said that not one republican will vote for this bill. Joe Lieberman, I-CT, said he will not vote for the bill. We need just a few democrats to vote against this obomination. There are 17 new taxes in this bill. Deficit neutral, not! Harry Reid is a liar, he states that this will save $130 billion dollars. He doesn't tell you that the tax implications start next year and the healthcare directives do not start until 2013. Ironically, right after the 2012 elections. So, we pay into this program for four years and then receive the intended benefits. Mitch McConnell gave a excellent analogy on Greta Van Susturen's "On The Record." If you buy a house, get a mortgage from a bank, start paying for it immediately, however, you don't move into the house for four years, that is the Senate healthcare bill in a nutshell. Realistically, Senator McConnell estimated the true cost of this bill at $2.5 trillion. Of course, the abortion clause is still in the bill, will the "Pro-life" Senators vote for that? I don't trust the democrats on anything. I feel like they are betraying the American people. The majority of citizens are against these plans. Look at any poll besides the AP or any of the "Post" newspapers. Reid is bribing Senators that are on the fence with our taxpayers money. Mary Landrieu, D-LA, is receiving one hundred million for her state. I wonder what Reid will offer Arkansas, Nebraska and Indiana for their votes. You are OK if you are make $200k and you are single. If you are happily married like me, (right honey?) your cap is $250K, why not 400K or 500K. Because they know this is the cash cow. We pay a majority of the taxes. 47% of our population doesn't pay any taxes. Small business owners are getting the royal shaft. I'm sure this will help our struggling economy. It will be great for job creation. Needless to say, the liberal democrats will sell their souls to pass a healthcare bill this year. It could be political suicide. Do they think that? Are they that niave? I will expose everyone who votes for this bad legislation. I will make it my mission in life. I will post their names every night. One other point I want to make is this $200B Doctor's bill. Another Harry Reid creative financing scheme is paying off the AMA. The Doctors fees would be decreased by approximately 23%. If the liberals included this in the healthcare bill, this would have made it too expensive to promote, so they break this out and make it a seperate bill. The CBO concluded that these two bills would have been extremely expensive and unsustainable. Well, in not so many words, the CBO said the two bills seperated will be too expensive and unsustainable. What is wrong with our morons that are suppose to be representing us? I pray that they will use common sense and defeat this "test." The 2010 elections will be change conservatives can believe in!
