A statement that deviates from or perverts the truth

Does it seem like politicians are telling mis-truths on a daily basis. Is it that they know they can get away with it? I'm not talking little white lies, but, earth shattering, huge impacting lies. It doesn't matter what channel on the tube, they blatantly lie as they look at you square in the eyes. Healthcare, Crap & Trade, Immigration, Climate change, the Economy, Stimulus, whatever it is, politicians and the political pundits lie (spin as they call it inside the beltway). Fox News does a descent job calling them out on mis-truths. ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, BBC and Univision carry the democrats' water. They just don't report on issues that go against the Obama administration (ACORN) and the democrat machine. The latest fabrication is the "jobs created by the Stimulus." There is not a way to document or measure the jobs saved and the job created has been fudged already. It's like saying how many souls have been saved, praise the Lord! I think this is an act of desparation coming out of the White House. They don't have a clue what to do or how to fix it. That's what I call Hope and Chains. Maybe the administration is doing this to calm the population. I think you'll agree, this has been the most controversial administration in many years. WOW! It makes for a lot to write about. Their main issue is they have an socialistic ideology that goes against the majority of Americans, and they are spending money (tax revenue & loans) which makes most Americans uncomfortable. This isn't the change we were looking for. The idiots that manage this jobs creation fiasco, should get some training. Out of 30,000 jobs supposedly created, 5,000 or so (fuzzy math) jobs were fiction. First, 30,00 is a pathetic number to begin with, when you detract from that, ouch! Nearly everyone I spoke with in the last week, is livid in regards to the President stalling the request to send reinforcements to Afghanistan. The stock market is responding to the present conditions. The positive thing is College football is on all day tomorrow. I can lose touch with reality for awhile. The President has a full plate, however, I bet he will be golfing this weekend and enjoying life. What do we do, how do we stop them from misleading the American people? I was watching Pelosi yesterday announcing the House healthcare bill and she said that it would not raise taxes (deficit neutral). What about the separate bill of 251 billion that should have been in H.R. 3962? What about the healthcare bill that doesn't take effect until 2013, yet we start paying taxes on it next year. I call that creative financing. Paying for it way before it goes into effect. Doesn't anyone care about this type of bait and switch shell game? A document was leaked mistakingly by the ethics committee where 30 members are being investigated. Just 30? Let's take a peek. Charles Rangel, income tax evasion, Christopher Dodd, friends of Angelo, Barney Frank, can't speak correctly, John Kerry, $800,000 campaign tax issues, Maxine Waters, favoritism, Harry Reid, land swindler and so on. These are the people that represent us, our lives, our families, I'm ready to move out of the country. Not really! I will not give up this incredible country where I was born. I had such pride when I saw the segment on the Tea Party Express rolling through the west. There are so many citizens that feel the same as we do. We must stand united, oppose, protest, question and act like Americans. Liberty, freedom and truth!

Edmunds.com, the respected and highly regarded car site criticized the "Cash for Clunkers" program saying it cost the American taxpayer $24,000 for each car sold under the program. Of course, immediately, Rahm Emmanuel made a call to a couple of guys in Chitown to eradicate the situation. Vinnie and Mario will take care of any dissenters of the anointed one's administration. Maybe Obama will takeover that too.

Stimulus - Now you see it, now you don't

In February, 2009, President Obama and congress passed a Stimulus bill costing the American taxpayer a mere $787 billion. Actually, a lot more than that if you figure in interest on that borrowed money. A lot of this money hasn't been spent or even allocated. Most of the state run media agencies have exploited the fallacy of the country emerging from the doldrums of a huge recession. I believe we are somewhat emerging from the recession, however, with unemployment ascending to 10% and the threat of the Crap & Trade (Tax) and healthcare bills attacking the small business owners and citizens that are making over $250,000. Does any of the politicians look at our history? President Reagan went against the political pundits and lowered payroll taxes and other taxes to stimulate the economy. It accomplished exactly that, federal revenues went through the roof. Small businesses were able to hire new employees, invest in their businesses by buying new equipment and spending on advertising and marketing. President Obama, can you read and comprehend this? We could have spent $400 billion and reducing varous taxes and fees (another word for tax) and copied what Reagan did. Problem, this doesn't fit Obama's socialistic agenda. Obama could not say the words, "small government." it isn't in his brilliant vocabulary. Yes, I am a news junkie, so, when I listen to talk radio or watch the tube, I am amazed of the different spin each channel purports. Fox news stands alone, the others just take the marching orders from David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel. I guess I question why the state run media outlets support Obama programs that will effect them personally, their families and their country. Yes, I realize most of them hate our country or at least, are embarrassed by her. Today, President Obama spoke of the 3.5% rise in the GDP. As I understand it, another acronym that is extremely important is "CIG." The "C" is consumer spending, the "I" stands for investment and the "G" is for Government. Consumers are not spending, there isn't much investment, government is spending and growing like, well, like the national debt. In retrospect, I'm happy it seems to be positive news for the economy, I just pray it is true and the country is emerging from this downturn. I was shopping at Home Depot last weekend and on a Saturday, it was dead, not a lot of people in the store. I stopped by a gun store and it was packed with people buying firearms, ammunition and supplies. Men and women alike, buying what they can before Cass Sunstein, Obama's Regulatory czar, tries to limit the second amendment. In summation, I wish the country's leaders would concentrate on the economy, our heroes in Afghanistan, Iran and other critical issues facing our nation. Maybe leave Fox news, the U.S Chamber of Commerce, Humana and the private insurance companies alone. "Liberty and Freedom."

I found myself in an argument again, concerning the Obama communist czars. Of course, the liberal lady I engaged thought it was Presidential perogative to have as many czars as the President deemed neccessary. I agreed, recent Presidents had czars. My point was that he seemed to hire socialist with very strong ideology that isn't in line with mainstream America and our way of life. However, their ideology was Obama's ideology. To my surprise, she called me a racist. Number six in the liberal handbook in response to debating a conservative. I didn't want to appear rude, but, I started laughing, which really got under her skin. Then the profanity started. I guess I just bring out the best in people.

Slash taxes and the economy will prosper!

Here we are, almost in November, 2009 and President Obama has been in office for almost ten months. Can someone tell me, what has changed for the good of the country? Unemployment seems to be ascending monthly, Afghanistan is looking a little like Viet Nam, we are spending money faster than we can print it, we have a plethura of communist czars unwelcome in the White House, our enemies are emboldened and Robert Gibbs , White House Press Secretary, sucks. Other than that, life is great! I know, I'm just an optimist. The reason I am writing about this tonight is because I've been talking to people from all walks of life. Most of them are typical Americans, living the American dream,. They've bought houses, had children, work and play hard. Now, everyone of them appears to be extremely pessimistic, cautious and negative in regards to the administration and congress. They(we) don't have confidence in that "American exceptionalism" attitude we once had. Why? We have been through other recessions before. Is it because unemployment is escalating rapidly? The dollar is in the john? Obama is at the helm? or a culmination of all of the above? Americans do not like having a wimpy President, plain and simple. I received A newsletter today from a Marine affiliated group that I belong to and it had a cartoon in it that had two different scenarios. The first part was President Obama saying "Patients are dying! Emergency! Quick! Hurry up! Panic! Don't even read it!" The second part said "Troops are dying. Relax, take your time. No rush. Let's conduct a study." Pathetic, but true! In nine months, Obama rushes two uread, undebated bills through with break neck speed and General McChrystal's recommendation has been sitting in Obama's "inbox" for two months. I guess selling private time at the White House with Obama's biggest donors is just taking up too much time. Movie night is very important to Obama and his contributors and FOO (Friends of Obama). Sidenote: I heard a rumor that Obama is kicking around he might hire a "Friends of Obama" czar. One other issue is most people I know have healthcare and they are happy with it. Yes, the cost is going up, however, our government does nothing to really fix or improve one of the best healthcare systems in the world. No, they want to take over that too. Our way of life is to live free, take advantage of ample opportunities, do the best you can and make your way in this world. This is why people from other countries desparately want to come here for the American dream, not redistribution of wealth or a nanny state. Obama could score so many points if he stopped the pursuit of Obamacare, lowered the payroll tax, abolished the capital gains tax for a specified time period, make a decision on Afghanistan, and stop apologizing for America. It is that simple. He would regain the title of "the anointed one." Unfortunately, that is a Peter Maxx psychedelic poster pipedream. Obama can not do any of the things that could help this country pull out of this financial crisis. It goes against his socialistic ideology. I haven't solidified my position on the premise, is he is doing this to create another crisis to take advantage of for Rahm Emanuel, or he doesn't care about the economy as much we do. The other conceptualisation is he doesn't know how to bring us out of this turmoil. Inexperience can be detrimental to the greatest nation on earth. Also, the Chicago political corruption machine will not work nationwide, so, Mr. Obama, you should cancel your plans to franchise. As patriotic Americans, we must contact our representatives and voice our opinions and concerns. We showed the politicians how serious we were last summer at the townhall meetings and the tea parties. The 912 Project tax rally on September 12, 2009 in Washington, DC was one of the most incredible and patriotic events I've had the priveledge to attend. We have to keep up the pressure on our representatives. Save our Constitution!

General McChrystal, it's only been sixty days!

Fore! Golfing in the tall weeds with the big dogs. Having the time of his life, shooting hoops, appearing at fundraiser after fundraiser, eating the excellent fare at $3000 a plate. Life is good. Next scenario, you are hungry and cold, either laying in a Humvee, cave or hole you dug yesterday. MRE's are getting old and a hot shower would be golden. You lost one of your good friends three days ago and you feel like crap. Lately, you seem to be honoring a lot of your hero friends without end. Enough, our President spends more time with his media sycophants trying to undermine Fox news who is kicking butt on all of the other news platforms by leaps and bounds. I find it unconscionable to take all of this time to make a decision. Obama hired General McChrystal to rectify the deteriorating Afghanistan mission. Presently, he takes John (You know he served in Viet Nam) Kerry's or Rahm (Twinkle Toes) Emanuel's recommendations over a decorated General. Doesn't make sense to me. This isn't about Bush anymore, stop campaigning and do your job. Or is it because the Governor elections next week? This will be considered a referendum on the Obama administration. If Corzine and Deeds lose, Obama will not maintain the "star concept" and Bill Clinton will be called up from "Triple A." That would be a travesty. Then, there is the appalling speech he made two days ago in front of Sailors, campaigning on how he would not send them in harm's way without careful consideration, (paraphrased) in between the behind closed door healthcare meetings, high dollar fundraisers, golf outings and the party and gala circuit. We have lost 55 heroes this month to date. They need reinforcements. I say this with conviction, my son, a Marine could be one of the reinforcements. Talk is cheap, Mr. Obama, stand and deliver. Their lives are so much more important than who wins in New Jersey, Virginia or New York. I've discussed this topic with many veterans and the consensus was overwhelmingly send reinforcements, more boots on the ground. How can a pacifist/socialist understand the magnitude of such a paramount, time-sensitive mission. Most of the military pundits are scratching their heads, wondering what the White House's ulterior motives and delays are. I hate to say it, but, this is what happens when you elect a rookie politician with a political career as long as a coffee break. Support our troops or bring them home!

Dismantling America

Just one year ago, would you have believed that an unelected government official, not even a Cabinet member confirmed by the Senate but simply one of the many "czars" appointed by the President, could arbitrarily cut the pay of executives in private businesses by 50 percent or 90 percent?

Did you think that another "czar" would be talking about restricting talk radio? That there would be plans afloat to subsidize newspapers-- that is, to create a situation where some newspapers' survival would depend on the government liking what they publish?

Did you imagine that anyone would even be talking about having a panel of so-called "experts" deciding who could and could not get life-saving medical treatments?

Scary as that is from a medical standpoint, it is also chilling from the standpoint of freedom. If you have a mother who needs a heart operation or a child with some dire medical condition, how free would you feel to speak out against an administration that has the power to make life and death decisions about your loved ones?

Does any of this sound like America?

How about a federal agency giving school children material to enlist them on the side of the president? Merely being assigned to sing his praises in class is apparently not enough.

How much of America would be left if the federal government continued on this path? President Obama has already floated the idea of a national police force, something we have done without for more than two centuries.

We already have local police forces all across the country and military forces for national defense, as well as the FBI for federal crimes and the National Guard for local emergencies. What would be the role of a national police force created by Barack Obama, with all its leaders appointed by him? It would seem more like the brown shirts of dictators than like anything American.

How far the President will go depends of course on how much resistance he meets. But the direction in which he is trying to go tells us more than all his rhetoric or media spin.

Barack Obama has not only said that he is out to "change the United States of America," the people he has been associated with for years have expressed in words and deeds their hostility to the values, the principles and the people of this country.

Jeremiah Wright said it with words: "God damn America!" Bill Ayers said it with bombs that he planted. Community activist goons have said it with their contempt for the rights of other people.

Among the people appointed as czars by President Obama have been people who have praised enemy dictators like Mao, who have seen the public schools as places to promote sexual practices contrary to the values of most Americans, to a captive audience of children.

Those who say that the Obama administration should have investigated those people more thoroughly before appointing them are missing the point completely. Why should we assume that Barack Obama didn't know what such people were like, when he has been associating with precisely these kinds of people for decades before he reached the White House?

Nothing is more consistent with his lifelong patterns than putting such people in government-- people who reject American values, resent Americans in general and successful Americans in particular, as well as resenting America's influence in the world.

Any miscalculation on his part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these stealth appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what they are. Fox News is now high on the administration's enemies list.

Nothing so epitomizes President Obama's own contempt for American values and traditions like trying to ram two bills through Congress in his first year-- each bill more than a thousand pages long-- too fast for either of them to be read, much less discussed. That he succeeded only the first time says that some people are starting to wake up. Whether enough people will wake up in time to keep America from being dismantled, piece by piece, is another question-- and the biggest question for this generation.

Obama Administration, leave a light on for me!

But what about the polar bears? As the lone polar bear floats off in the computer generated photshopped picture, people cry, WHY? How can we let this happen? I am all for the environment, however, I expect the truth and not a lot of slanted, bias hyperbole about how the climate is changing and we only have a couple of decades left to live. Save me Lord! Why do the environmental activist and liberal politicians refuse to look at scientific data showing that most of the climate change data and hard facts are natural and are found in historical data. Notice how it is called "climate change" and not "global warming" anymore? The politicians and environmental activist realized and have conceded that this was false. In Great Britain, their court system removed Al Gore, Jr.'s "Inconvenient Truth" movie and study programs from schools because they found 9 different mis-truths. So, why do they promote this if it isn't true? I believe one of the benefits to the environmentalist is there is a lot of money involved in this scam. The politicians see another power grab and a way to instill more taxes. The issue I see are the restrictions, regulations and taxes are bonafide unadulterated economy and job killers. If Obama gets his way and congress passes the "Crap & Trade (Tax) legislation, we will be in a recession longer than when Roosevelt was President, or longer. I heard a very interesting interview today with a scientist named Patrick Michaels, Professor of Environmental Science at the University of Virginia and Senior Fellow in Environmental Studies at Cato Institute and a resume' that you would dream of. (Government Run Option) I think the democrats believe they can push this bill through while we are sleeping. The democrats have blocked many bills that would allow the final bill to be posted on the internet 72 hours prior to a vote. Why? you know why. We must oppose this more than we did over the summer. Let them know, we are not against healthcare reform, just not a total makeover. Call and email your representatives. I have emailed and called mine so many times, they are referring to me by my first name. Write an old fashioned letter, it has a lot of importance. Attend your local tea parties and townhalls to voice your opinions and make a overwhelming presence. Below, is a little list how you can get involved. It is our civic duty. "It is our Country."
